How to create trust and relationships in your videos.
Internet video marketing is becoming increasingly ambitious in terms of quality productions that have effective marketing messages and expert graphics. This has been brought on by sophisticated applications, free video hosting, and big businesses that have explored the meaning of having an online presence. When doing online video marketing, this is really critical.
The greatest challenge of video marketing these days is retaining your viewers intrigued long enough so that they basically reach your call-to-action. All the while dealing with the ordinary attention deficit disorder of internet users and all of the advertisement and links being hurled their way while watching your video.
So how would somebody strategize in the face of this endless challenge to get and keep a market of subscribers? Who is the individual in this video? If a video just starts putting out your marketing message, it’s likely going to be overlooking a human association right from the beginning. You don’t necessarily have to appear in the video, but rather something as simple as a standard business photo of you and a short mention such as “Hi, this is Mike Smith from the website name of the same name here to tell you about …” etc., etc,. At least the viewer knows who is talking to them and exactly why. Leaving out of such a thing causes mistrust in your viewers – even if it is on a subconscious level. Being uniform in providing video content in your sector also has a relationship building side effect that brings in subscribers and a social media audience within Youtube and beyond. Your credibility is then further enhanced by being perceived as an expert in the specific topic.
Credibility can come in many ways, but the easiest way to begin being more trustworthy is to be more visible and let your customers know they’re engaging with a genuine person who is stating responsibility for this video material.
